The Sony Walkman Core

September 4th, 2010 No comments

The Sony Walkman Core also has an FM tuner. Sony also offers the Sony Walkman Bean, a truly compact MP3 player with a built-in USB connector, in 512MB and 1GB size. The Walkman Bean gives the same exceptional battery life as the Walkman Core, the fast charging 50 hour battery. Sony’s Walkman Bean also comes with the FM tuner and retails for around $89.95 for the 512MB and $119.95 for the 1GB.

The third option Sony has for MP3 consumers is the Walkman Circ, a round and sporty compact digital player. With the Walkman Circ you get 70 hours of battery life with the 512MB memory and a backlit LCD display, with the Sony’s Walkman Circ not offering an FM tuner.

Sony’s line of MP3 players provides a great example for why the digital audio player race is so complex. The people at Sony are no doubt one of the elite players in electronics, but they are lagging in this race. With difficult software and fragile flash drive players the initial reputation for Sony in the digital audio world is weak. But no one cannot say they have the reputation to pick it up, especially since they started the race anyway.

So if you happen to live

September 3rd, 2010 No comments

So if you happen to live in high altitudes, just bear this in mind when buying a plasma TV.

The second problem that plasma TVs can exhibit is a susceptibility to screen burn-in. This happens whenever any static image stays on the screen for a very long time and is still faintly visible even when the image changes. It is said to have been “burned-in” to the screen, and can be very irritating to see a ghost pattern still visible as you watch TV. The easy way to avoid this problem with older plasma screens is to make sure that you don’t leave the TV on when you are not watching it, and especially when pausing a video game for a very long time.

I was very

I was very stressed when I decided to buy my Optoma GrayWolf 92 inch 16?9 1.8 gain projection screen. According to posts on AVS Forum I had to worry about: finding a discounted online retailer that would ship me the right product (the Graywolf has the same product number as Optoma?s white screen), the screen surviving shipping damage (large dents in the roll-up housing reported) and a horizontal line across the image area from a plastic sheet used for packing (more on this later). I?m happy to say I avoided all these headaches and received an intact screen at a reasonable price.

I arrived at the Graywolf after a long research journey through DIY screens. Before the low priced Graywolf crossed my browser, I was ready to buy a four by eight sheet of plastic corrugated sheeting for a screen, masked in a border of velvet and cropped by an elaborate draping system for different aspect ratios. All this DIY work became unattractive when I couldn?t figure out the sales at the local fabric store and how to strap the plastic to the roof of my SUV without a major accident. The Graywolf?s sub $200 price beat the DIY project?s time and effort.

The Optoma Graywolf is a retro-reflective retractable screen.

A party with

A party with a red theme can be great for celebrating the 40th birthday. Buy some ruby red 40th birthday dangles, scatter some red glitter around the party area, and even a multicolored metallic star centerpiece can accent the sparkle at the party, especially when its base is wrapped in red metallic foil.

A 40th birthday party can also be bold. You are the star of the event, after all. Look for napkins, plates, and table covers with a dark background and the number forty boldly printed on the front in a lighter color such as blue or purple. You can accent these with plain black plastic silverware. Even party invitations can be found with this bold look.

Guests bringing presents to the party can focus on the ruby theme.

September 3rd, 2010 No comments

With ‘Sex and the City’ you would think that more women would be leading free sexual lives and that more men would stop ‘courting them’.

I have several girlfriends and X’s who are fans of that show but what is happening is that their sex lives are close to very dry.

The show has become more of an ‘escape’ rather than a reality for many women.

What’s happening is a great ‘divergence’. What I now call the ‘social matrix’ is sending out massive amounts of programming that is actually controlling and influencing people beyond their cognition.

The social matrix is essentially more socialistic than Socialism itself.

Be sure to type

are one below the other.

Also, please note that you can easily add the NEW WINDOW
“target” to each of your links. Just before the closing * (see

one typed SPACE and then “target=_blank”

Now each time you click a link, it will open in a new window
for you.

Here’s a sample link:

On your HOME page, you’ll see a clickable link called
MyStartPage.

You must insert some sort of name after the URL and close
the a href reference with the */a* code to complete the link.

Why not invest $50.00

September 3rd, 2010 No comments

Why not invest $50.00 on my 4 CD set – Soft Sell – it?s a classic, filled with great ideas from the all time best selling sales book ever.

6. Reevaluate your sales approach ? what?s working and what isn?t and why.

I am not a Scrooge. I believe in spending important family time with those in your life who need and want some of your time and energy. I am only suggesting that you not significantly alter your sales strategies and effort just because it is the holiday time of year. Remember, while you are baking cookies, attending an office party, or shopping, your competitor may be stealing your business.

The easier it is

September 3rd, 2010 No comments

The easier it is to find the items, the easier it is to buy from you.

I am working with a customer that has a great looking web site but the navigation and scrolling to purchase is extremely difficult. Some of the links do not work and you cannot get back to the home page. If they made it easier (and we have given them a proposal on how to do that), they would likely increase their sales.

Besides ease of use, you also need to look at the security of the site when doing the purchasing. I would never give my credit card to a site that does not have a secure server to process the payments. You can tell if it is secure by the lock that is closed at the bottom-right of the screen. If the lock does not appear, I go elsewhere to purchase. One more thing to be aware of is the follow-up you do after the purchase is made.

Most online stores such as Amazon send an email to confirm your purchase. This gives the customer an opportunity to change their mind or refute the purchase.
